I am very pleased to be able to say I primarily use reclaimed wood for my projects. The wood I use has had a previous life before becoming a new product in my workshop. I do use new hardware, screws, hooks, hinges etc, to ensure that they are of the highest quality.

If you are commissioning a bespoke project, you will always have the choice between reclaimed wood, new wood and a combination of the two, the quantity of reclaimed and new wood in a mixed project will be dependant on the design.

Using reclaimed wood means I cannot always guarantee a constant supply of raw materials, for me that is part of the fun. This can result in times when items may not be available.

The use of reclaimed wood allows me to create unique products, although multiple items may be made to the same pattern each item will be an individual piece, varying slightly in shape, size and colour; all dictated by the unique pieces of wood I am using. Reclaimed wood inspires me with new ideas for products, some of which may be in limited supply so keep an eye on the shop to see the latest.
